What everyone has been patiently waiting for has finally arrived... the all new, redesigned 2014 C7 Corvette. We know that it will have a better power to weight ratio than a Porsche 911 Carrera and an Audi R8. It will be able to go from 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds and will weight slightly more than 3,000 lbs. The new LT1 engine will make around 450 horsepower 450 lb/ft of torque in its base trim. It will have cylinder deactivation technology which will allow it to get a moderate 26 mpg.


Transmission options are a six-speed automatic or seven-speed Tremec manual. Brembo Brakes come standard and incorperate four fixed piston calipers.


With the new and improved looks of the C7 Stingray we can't wait to see the numbers this car puts up on the track.

These images were recently posted but taken down by a corvette forum member. They appear to be drawings of the new C7 corvette which will have its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in a couple of weeks.
